Summer Jewelry

This post is dedicated to the items of jewelry I have purchased this summer. Most of them were bought recently, and I've become obsessed with them! They have definitely been my go-to pieces.

Baublebar Rose Gold Double Chain Necklace, No Longer Available. Received in Pop Sugar Box
Gorjana Open Circle Necklace, $65. Received in Pop Sugar Box
Aldo Turquoise Bib Necklace, $12.95. Not Available Online
Aldo Gold Horn Earrings, Free (Buy one get one free). Not Available Online

I've been wearing these pieces with virtually anything and everything. Having these pieces has made me realize how much better an outfit can look when accessorized the right way. Until my next post, Elyse.

New Years Eve.

Last year I went to the movie theater to watch New Years Eve and although the movie itself wasn't a product of sheer genius or creativity or amazingness, I left the theater feeling inspired. I was inspired to have a fun and adventurous NYE. Unfortunately, that did not happen. This year, I hope for it to be different. In anticipation I made two outfits on polyvore. One being the "traditional" NYE outfit with sequins and red lips. The other slightly different and more casual. I think this night of all nights is the perfect time to pull out the oddly textured/colored/patterned in your wardrobes and make them work. Go big or go home! Until my next post, Elyse.

Happy 25th!

Merry Christmas to everyone! I've just been lounging around the house dressed up with nowhere to go.  Thats the only downside to Christmas. My family never does anything besides the whole present thing so I'm stuck doing nothing the rest of the day since everyone else is busy. I guess I could be productive....Until my next post, Elyse.

Some wonderful gifts to be featured soon:

high-waisted and urban.

Last week I bought these high waisted ankle cropped jeans from Forever 21 and I am so happy I did. I went online to order them in the normal denim wash but they were already sold out. Bummer. A couple days ago I wore this to go shopping in berkeley and I was quite happy with my outfit. It is quite boring, but I was feeling pretty bold wearing the pants so I didn't want anything else to be bold. Anyways, I threw in what I bought in Berkeley at the end of this post. Until my next post, Elyse.
